The Pescadero project has been a lot of fun to be a part of. The owner of the property has been an interior designer and true artist for many years. We have worked with her on several projects over the years and as they approach retirement, they asked us to help them to make their own home unique. Here are a few pictures during construction to show the progress of the project.
Drywall goes up next week and we anticipate cabinet installation will be starting Mid-December. The cabinets on this
project are a little different in each room. The Dresser in the Master Bedroom Has 18 drawers and solid cherry plank style
doors with Horizontal Grain, The Master Vanity is constructed of Solid Alder with posted legs open section in the
center under the drawers with a slatted bottom for rolled up towels etc...The Vanity's edges will be roughed up and
a grey-wash finish will be applied to make it resemble the color of driftwood.
The Library will be reclaimed Monterey Cypress with a Live edge and Dark cherry finish,
the 27 foot wide window seat will be painted to match the living room interior,
and all of the office cabinetry and desk will have vertical grain solid cherry plank doors with a one of a kind,
Monterey Cypress Wood counter-top with a live edge and several custom inlay's .
This has been a very fun project for a truly amazing couple.
Here are a few cabinet pictures during construction,
check back after the holidays to see the pictures when the project is completed :-)
This Posted Leg Vanity will look completely different once it has been roughed up, aged and grey-washed, fun Cabinet.
This vanity will also have two very unique vessel style sinks and some very unique hardware when it is completed.
This may be the Widest window seat that we have ever made 27 feet wide from point to point and the
3" Burl counter-tops will be on the two angled and elevated side cabinets.
Stay tuned for project updates in the coming months :-)
Have an amazing week, Patrick
