Touch latches, custom pull-outs, Dovetailed Maple drawer boxes, soft close drawer slides, Waterfall counter-top and a new dining table built on to the Island in the old Eichler tradition. Another Palo Alto Craftsman Style renovation nears completion as the clients move in. We are still working on a new front porch and steps to complete the project but here are some pictures of the completed interior. We opened up the walls, framed and added a few rooms, built and installed new cabinets throughout the house, as well as the custom closets, windows and doors. Re finished the stairway and floors, added new drywall, siding, and moldings and re-painted the entire house inside and out.
Hi Gang,
We just got pictures and video of a home office project that we completed earlier this year. The office is made with rift white oak with a light stain on most of it and dark stained white oak on the wood top and the square dark inlays on the doors.
The dark square inlay on the 2nd from the left door actually houses the lens of the projector that shines onto the big screen TV across the room.
The Floating Vanities on this
project are Made of Cherry
with sequenced grain on the doors and our standard Solid Maple dovetailed drawers on full extension soft close drawer slides.
On the smaller vanity below you will note that we made the drawers in a U shape to go around the plumbing.
For more pictures of the bathroom vanities as well as the new Laundry room cabinets click here .
By choosing a vessel sink and making the drawers wrap around the plumbing it allows the client to make better use of the space below the sink.
Below is a shot of the laundry room cabinets that we installed for the same client. The client wanted a Gloss White exterior and wanted to incorporate a wine fridge as well as a shampoo sink. For more pictures of the Bathrooms or Laundry room you can click here.
That's all for now, our newest newsletter is now going to be web based. The new format will actually appear as another page on our website. It should be ready for release in a few weeks, check back for updates , I should have it completed soon. Have a great week, Patrick
We just completed another bathroom remodel in Mountain View. Client had an old painted vanity cabinet sitting on carpet and wanted to spruce things up a bit with a new look, so we had our Tile Man, Jay Jones, replace the carpet with tile, We then replaced the painted cabinet with a new distressed cherry cabinet with Arched openings and new lighting Installed by our electrician Dominic at DeLuca Electric.. Here are the before and after shots of the vanity.

We just completed a small cabinet made of Re-Claimed Teak to illustrate
the quality of our work to a new potential client.
Pictures of the finished cabinet, as well as the rough Re-Claimed teak lumber that we used for material appear in our web gallery under CURRENT PROJECTS .
This was an interesting undertaking, to scan the re-claimed lumber for metal (Nails, etc...) , remove the metal, join, resaw, plane, sand, cut, layup and mill all the material to make the finished ends and doors.
Working with this material did prove to be a challenge :-)
More Pictures of the entire cabinet appear in our web gallery under CURRENT PROJECTS .

I just uploaded pictures and video of a Quarter Sawn Horizontal Grain Cabinetry project
that we recently completed in Menlo Park. The project consisted of a Custom Kitchen,
wet bar, laundry room, hall linen and floating vanity with bamboo vessel sink.
We are very happy with the finished product and had alot of fun with the details on this project.
----------------------------------
A few of the details are the Claro Walnut Accent strip added to the edge of the crown molding
as well as the light rail, Custom hand made pull-out wine rack, Grain matching horizontally that wraps around
onto the finished ends and continues around the finished inside corners.

Check out our video link below to get a walk through of the entire project.
